Ingredients
  

Pie Crust

  • 1 box ready-made pie crust (2 crusts)

Filling

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sliced onions
  • ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the bottom pie crust in a pie dish according to package instructions.

Cooking

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat mixture. Stir until the vegetables are tender.
  • Layer the meat mixture in the pie crust along with the pepperoni and cheeses.
  • Cover with the top pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut slits for ventilation.
  • Brush the top crust with melted butter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side salad or marinara sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
