  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese Melted for gooeyness

  • ½ cup sliced dill pickles Adds crunch and tang

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  • Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  • Layer mozzarella cheese, dill pickles, and cheddar cheese on top.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.

Cooking

  • Grill until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese is best served hot from the skillet. Pair it with tomato soup or a fresh salad for a satisfying meal. If you want to add spice, include jalapeños, or for a meatier option, add turkey or ham. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days.
