Ingredients
  

For the seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Can substitute with Italian seasoning if desired

For the pork

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin Trimmed and patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Pat the pork tenderloin dry and rub the seasoning mixture all over it.

Searing

  • Heat a oven-proof pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  • Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until golden brown.

Baking

  • Transfer the pan with the pork to the oven and bake for about 18-21 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs such as thyme or rosemary during baking. Don't skip the resting time for the pork to retain its juices.
