Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips plus extra for topping if desired

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in melted butter.
  • Add sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  • Sprinkle in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
