- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika optional
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese optional for extra richness
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Season & Sear Chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken on both sides until golden (about 5–6 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make Sauce: In the same skillet, add cream cheese and chicken broth. Stir until smooth and melted. Add onion powder and Parmesan cheese (if using). Simmer gently.
Combine: Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your choice of side.
