Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp White Sugar
  • tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Stir in the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

Cooking

  • Heat your nonstick skillet to medium heat.
  • Scoop about 1/3 cup of pancake batter and pour it into the middle of the pan.
  • Cook until the top begins to bubble and the edges turn golden. Flip the pancake over and cook for another minute or until the bottom is golden.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping cooked pancakes warm on a plate covered with a towel.

Serving

  • Serve warm pancakes with butter, syrup, and your favorite fresh fruit.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the batter. Some lumps are okay; they help keep the pancakes fluffy. Check your pan's heat; too hot can burn the pancakes. Experiment with add-ins like cinnamon, chocolate chips, or nuts for variety. Use different flavors like mashed bananas or blueberries in the batter for a twist.
