- 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon sriracha optional, for heat
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions for garnish
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic, and sriracha (if using).
Add chicken to a resealable bag or container and pour marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–8 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let rest a few minutes, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, then serve.
