Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup prepared basil pesto
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream and pesto. Stir to combine and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and continue to simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to heat through.
  • Garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve with pasta, rice, or vegetables.
