  • 1 pkg Fresh cheese tortellini (refrigerated) Do not use dry tortellini.
  • 4 Tbsp Good butter Use real butter for best flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced; adjust quantity to taste.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Shredded, for topping.
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh or dried parsley For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water.
  • Add the cheese tortellini and cook until they float, approximately 4-5 minutes.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Drain the tortellini and toss them into the skillet, mixing well.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and, if desired, place under the broiler for 2 minutes to melt and brown.

Notes

This dish reheats well; add a splash of water when warming to prevent drying out. Feel free to customize with additional proteins or vegetables.
