  • 1 box box of cake mix (choose your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup water
  • cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup yogurt or any preferred egg substitute Can use applesauce, flaxseed meal, or commercial egg replacers.
  • optional vanilla extract For flavor enhancement.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and yogurt. Stir until well blended.
  • If using, add vanilla extract at this stage and mix until evenly incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Make sure to measure your ingredients accurately for the best results. Mix ingredients evenly but avoid overmixing to keep the cake light and fluffy.
