Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Best for light and fluffy cakes
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Standard choice for most recipes
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder Helps the cake rise

Wet Ingredients

  • cup Vegetable Oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract Use pure extract for best flavor
  • 1 cup Water Adds moisture to the batter

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.

Mixing

  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
  • Mix until the batter is smooth and even.

Baking

  • Pour the mix into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 30 to 38 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

For serving, dust with powdered sugar or serve with fresh fruits, whipped cream, or ice cream. For frosting, consider whipped coconut cream or a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and water.
