  • 1 medium cucumber Makes the juice mellow

  • 1 medium green apple, core removed Optional for sweetness
  • 1 small piece ginger Use sparingly for flavor
  • 1 sprig fresh mint Optional for a refreshing taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the greens thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  • Roughly chop the kale, spinach, cucumber, and celery into manageable pieces.

Juicing

  • Load all the chopped ingredients into your juicer or blender.
  • If using a blender, blend until smooth and strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  • Taste the juice, and adjust sweetness or acidity with extra cucumber or green apple if needed.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor.

Notes

Green juice is best enjoyed fresh. If storing, seal in a glass jar and consume within 24 hours.
