  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup milk

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mix in the sour cream and milk until the batter is smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to over mix.
  • Gently fold in the Fruity Pebbles cereal.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle extra Fruity Pebbles generously on top.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Spread with butter or cream cheese for an added treat. Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to three days or wrapped for refrigeration for about a week. It can also be frozen for up to three months.
