Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • ½ cup olive oil Choose high-quality olive oil for best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best aroma.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Can be substituted with fresh thyme or other herbs.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground for maximum flavor.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.

Marination

  • Place your chicken (breasts, thighs, or wings) in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all parts are well coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably a few hours or overnight for the best flavor.

Cooking

  • Cook the marinated chicken by grilling, baking, or pan-searing as preferred. Ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Notes

Store any leftover marinade in the fridge for up to a week. If it has touched raw chicken, discard it for safety. Use leftover marinade to flavor grilled vegetables or tofu.
