Ingredients
  

For the garlic butter

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

For the sandwich

  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley to make garlic butter.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the unbuttered side, place a generous amount of the cheese blend.
  • Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm, paired with tomato soup or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat on low heat in a skillet.
