Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper

For the Pasta

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  • Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

Cooking the Steak

  • Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness, adding minced garlic in the last minute.
  • Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.

Cooking the Pasta

  • In the same skillet, boil water and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • Drain the pasta and return it to the skillet.
  • Add the remaining butter and grated Parmesan cheese to the pasta, stirring until melted and creamy.

Serving

  • Slice the steaks and serve them over the cheesy herb pasta.
  • Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Let the steak come to room temperature before cooking for even results. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy. Stir the pasta frequently after adding cheese and butter.
