Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Linguine, Spaghetti, or Wide egg noodles Choose your preferred pasta type.

Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Melted for the sauce.
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic Chopped finely.
  • 1 cup Freshly grated parmesan cheese Provides rich flavor.

Optional Add-ins

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken or shrimp For a more filling meal.
  • 1 cup Fresh veggies like broccoli or peas For added nutrition.

Instructions
 

Cooking Pasta

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and add pasta. Cook until al dente, 1-2 minutes less than package instructions.

Making Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add chopped garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Combining Ingredients

  • Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with garlic butter.
  • Toss everything together until pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  • Add parmesan cheese and toss again until melted and combined.

Serving

  • Serve warm and enjoy as is or add optional proteins and vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet with a bit of butter or water for optimal flavor.
