- 6 oz 170 g noodles (wheat noodles, ramen, or rice noodles)
- 3 tablespoons chili oil with chili flakes
- 4 cloves garlic finely minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion finely chopped
- Optional: pinch of sugar sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, or cilantro for garnish
Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat chili oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn it).
Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Turn off the heat.
Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or chopped peanuts if desired.
