Ingredients
  

For the Marinades

  • ¼ cup honey Locally sourced, organic preferred
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh, firm cloves
  • ¼ cup soy sauce Low-sodium recommended
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha For spicy soy glaze
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated Fresh for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For spicy soy glaze

For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon Fresh, firm texture recommended

Preparation

  • Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Choose whether to keep the skin on or remove it.
  • Prepare the marinade by mixing honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  • Marinate the salmon in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking.
  • Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for 6-8 minutes.
  • Check for doneness with a spatula and cook until the desired internal temperature is reached (145°F recommended).

Notes

Serve the grilled salmon with steamed vegetables, mixed greens salad, or fluffy rice for a complete meal. Leftover grilled salmon can be used in salads, pasta dishes, or for breakfast in scrambled eggs. Always refrigerate leftovers within two hours of cooking.
