Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary (Minced) Use fresh for best flavor.
  • cup Dark Brown Sugar Can substitute honey for a sweeter taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • teaspoon Red Pepper

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz Steak Use your preferred cut.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, minced rosemary, dark brown sugar, kosher salt, ground black pepper, and red pepper.
  • Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Place the steak in a resealable plastic bag or dish and pour the marinade over it.
  • Seal or cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Cooking

  • Remove the steak from the marinade, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Grill or cook to your desired doneness.

Serving

  • Serve steak on a plate with favorite sides like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Drizzle some of the marinade over the steak for extra flavor.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight. If in a hurry, marinate for at least 2 hours.
