  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup Grape Crush soda
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs Use room temperature eggs for better mixing.
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup purple grape jelly

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, Grape Crush soda, vegetable oil, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the purple grape jelly until evenly distributed.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serving

  • Once cooled, you can frost them if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Bring back to room temperature before serving. For extra sweetness, add a sprinkle of crushed grape-flavored candies on top.
