These easy grilled chicken kebabs are perfect for BBQ season, juicy and flavorful, and simple to make whether you're a grilling pro or a beginner.

Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 1 pound chicken breast or boneless thighs Cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika Optional, for smokiness
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Vegetables (optional)

Skewers

  • Wooden or metal skewers Soak wooden skewers in water for 20-30 minutes

Preparation

  • Cut chicken into chunks and place in a large bowl.
  • Add olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano to the bowl.
  • Mix everything together with your hands.
  • Let the mixture marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water during this time.

Grilling

  • Thread chicken chunks and vegetables onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high.
  • Oil the grill grates if desired.
  • Place skewers on the grill and cook without flipping for about 5 minutes.
  • Flip the skewers and grill for an additional 7 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Remove from grill and let kebabs rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, marinate overnight. Trends swap out veggies for fruits like pineapple for a unique twist. Be careful not to overcrowd the skewers.
