Ingredients

For the white sauce

  • ½ cup sour cream Base of the creamy dressing.
  • ½ cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 tbsp lime juice Enhances the flavor of the sauce.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cumin Adds warmth to the sauce.

Toppings

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage Provides crunch.
  • 1 cup pico de gallo Adds fresh flavors.
  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped For serving.
  • 1 avocado sliced Optional for added creaminess.

Tortillas

  • 8 pieces corn or whole grain tortillas For serving the tacos.

Instructions
 

Preparing the Fish Marinade

  • In a bowl, mix lime juice, minced garlic, chili powder, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  • Add the fish fillets to the marinade and ensure they are fully coated.
  • Let the fish marinate for 20 to 30 minutes.

Grilling the Fish

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the fish for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side until it flakes easily.
  • Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Assembling the Tacos

  • Warm the tortillas on the grill for a few seconds on each side.
  • Place a piece of grilled fish on each tortilla.
  • Top with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro, and sliced avocado.
  • Drizzle with the white sauce.

Notes
