  • 2 slices slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter Use creamy or crunchy based on preference.
  • 1 ripe banana sliced into rounds Use fresh, ripe bananas for best flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Spread peanut butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place banana slices on top of the peanut butter on one slice.
  • Top with the other slice of bread, peanut butter side down.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
  • Grill until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and grill the other side.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm on its own or with a glass of milk. For added flavor, sprinkle cinnamon or drizzle honey on top.
