  • 450 g ground beef 1 lb, cooked and drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (295 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (295 g) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheese, optional For topping
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and cream of chicken soup.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Combine the ground beef mixture with the cooked noodles in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • (Optional) Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

For storage, allow the casserole to cool completely, then cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 3 days. It can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven until bubbly. You can add vegetables such as peas or corn for extra nutrition.
