  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the rice.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced Enhances aroma.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce To taste.

For Serving

  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced For garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Marinate the Steak

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, and garlic to create a marinade.
  • Add the steak to the marinade, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Fried Rice

  • Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add in the day-old rice, stir-frying until heated through and slightly toasted.
  • Stir in the frozen vegetables and sauté until they are warmed, followed by the beaten eggs.
  • Add soy sauce to taste and stir everything together until well combined.

Cook the Steak

  • Heat the grill or skillet over high heat until it’s very hot.
  • Cook the marinated steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer to your desired doneness.
  • Let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking, then slice into thin strips.

Serve

  • Serve the fried rice on a plate topped with sliced steak.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
