Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Chex
  • 3 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex
  • 2 cups Pretzels Can be substituted with cheese crackers or bagel chips.
  • 1 cup Butter Melted for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Essential for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Seasoned salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper Optional for a spicy kick.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine all Chex cereals, pretzels, and any additional snacks.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder to the melted butter. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and toss well to coat.
  • Spread the mixture evenly onto baking sheets.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing.

Notes

Cool the Chex mix completely before sealing in a bag or container to keep it crunchy. Can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free Chex and pretzels. Variations are encouraged - feel free to customize with your favorite snacks!
