Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb cheese, cut into 3/4-inch cubes Choose cheeses that melt well such as mozzarella, cheddar, or provolone.
  • 2 large eggs Beaten for breading station.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For breading the cheese.
  • to taste Oil for frying Heat properly before frying.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning after frying.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning after frying.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  • Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, and one with beaten eggs.
  • Dip each cheese cube in flour, then in the egg, and back to the flour.

Cooking

  • Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded cheese cubes to the pan.
  • Fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and serve warm.

Notes

These cheese bites are best served warm. Pair with dipping sauces like marinara, ranch, or spicy mustard. They can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in an oven or air fryer.
