  • 2 slices slices of bread (your choice of bread)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter, softened
  • 1 ripe banana ripe banana, sliced
  • to taste Honey, for drizzling

Preparation

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice, butter-side down, in the skillet.
  • Layer the banana slices on top of the bread, then drizzle with honey.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
  • Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the banana is warm.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for the best sweetness and flavor. Pair with fresh fruit or yogurt for a light meal. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two days.
