Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts, thighs, or drumsticks Any type of chicken will work.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Real butter is preferred.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • ΒΌ cup Honey Any kind of honey works.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Optional Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons Parsley or green onions For garnish.

Preparation

  • If the chicken is thick, flatten it using a rolling pin or the bottom of a coffee mug for even cooking.
  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat with butter until melted.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  • While the chicken is cooking, finely chop or smash the garlic.
  • When the chicken is nearly done, add in more butter and the chopped garlic. Cook briefly, making sure not to burn the garlic.
  • Pour in the honey and stir, allowing the sauce to bubble and coat the chicken, cooking until the chicken is fully cooked but still juicy.
  • Serve hot, possibly with additional honey and butter for extra sauce.

Notes

Don't skimp on the garlic or butter. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking to lock in juices. Feel free to tweak the recipe with chili flakes or alternative cooking methods like air frying.
