Ingredients
  

For the chicken

  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs

For the sauce

  • ¼ cup honey The runny kind is best
  • 4 cloves garlic Fresh or jarred
  • ¼ cup soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp oil For cooking
  • 1 tbsp vinegar Add for extra tang
  • to taste sriracha Optional, for heat
  • to taste sesame seeds For garnish, optional

Vegetables (optional)

  • 1 cup broccoli or bell peppers Toss in with the chicken if desired

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking pan with foil.
  • In a bowl, mix together the honey, garlic, soy sauce, oil, vinegar, and sriracha (if using).
  • Place the chicken thighs in the sauce and marinate for at least 20 minutes (or up to overnight).

Cooking

  • Arrange the marinated chicken on the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes or until fully cooked, flipping halfway through.
  • For the last two minutes, broil the chicken for crispy, caramelized edges.

Notes

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes, and store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
