Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust for desired spiciness.

For Cooking

  • 1 lb chicken strips Can substitute with chicken breasts cut into small pieces.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For frying.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken strips to the marinade and let them soak for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook each strip for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked.

Serving

  • Serve hot and garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

For even more flavor, let the chicken marinate for a few hours or overnight. These strips can be served with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
