  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Panini:

  • 2 slices ciabatta or panini bread
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and slice into strips.
  • Make the Honey Pepper Glaze: In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened. Toss the sliced chicken in the glaze to coat evenly.
  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce, stirring to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Assemble the Panini: Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the ciabatta or panini bread slices. Place the glazed chicken strips between the bread slices. Grill the sandwich in a panini press or skillet until the bread is crispy and golden.
  • Serve: Plate the creamy pasta alongside the honey pepper chicken panini. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
