  • ¼ cup plain yogurt or applesauce as egg replacement for 1 egg
  • 1 cup water or per box instructions
  • ½ cup oil or per box instructions
  • Note: You can also use mashed banana flaxseed egg, or commercial egg replacer based on preferences.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven according to cake mix package directions (usually 350°F / 175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, egg substitute (like yogurt or applesauce), water, and oil.
  • Mix until smooth and lump-free, following the mixing time on the box.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
