  • 4 pieces frozen chicken breasts Boneless, skinless preferred.
  • 1 cup broth or water Broth for extra flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Optional seasoning.

Cooking

  • Place frozen chicken breasts in the Instant Pot.
  • Add broth or water to the pot.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika over the chicken.
  • Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 12-15 minutes.
  • Let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes, then perform a quick release for the remaining pressure.
  • Check the chicken in the thickest part to ensure it's not pink.
  • Shred or slice the chicken as desired.
  • Optional: Hit sauté to reduce leftover juices for a thicker sauce.

Notes

Great for meal prep or quick weeknight dinners. Leftovers can be used in tacos, salad, or as filling for wraps. Chicken can be frozen after cooking if cooled completely and stored in freezer bags.
