Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks about 1 inch thick, ~8 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter optional, for serving
  • Fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Prep the steaks: Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Air fry: Place steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, for medium-rare to medium (adjust time based on thickness and preferred doneness).
  • Rest and serve: Let steaks rest for 5 minutes after cooking. Top with a pat of butter and fresh herbs if desired.
