- 1.5 pounds beef tenderloin trimmed and tied
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or 1 tablespoon fresh, minced
Prepare the Tenderloin: Allow the beef tenderloin to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels.
Season: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary. Rub this mixture all over the tenderloin, ensuring it's evenly coated.
Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cook: Place the seasoned tenderloin in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. Then, reduce the temperature to 360°F (182°C) and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
Rest: Remove the tenderloin from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board, loosely tented with foil, for 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.
Serve: Slice the tenderloin into desired portions and serve with your choice of sides.
