  • ¾ cup homemade mayonnaise Use store-bought if preferred.
  • ½ cup homemade kefir Store-bought kefir is also an option.
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley Fresh parsley can be used instead (3 times the amount).
  • 2 tsp dried minced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp white distilled vinegar

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the homemade mayonnaise and kefir. Stir until smooth.
  • Add the dried parsley, dried minced onions, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and white distilled vinegar to the bowl.
  • Mix everything together until well blended and creamy.
  • Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

Kefir Ranch Dressing is versatile and can be served as a dip, salad dressing, or topping for various dishes. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days. Shake or stir before using if it separates. For a thicker dressing, reduce kefir or increase mayonnaise.
