Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Can add more on top for serving.
  • 3 large eggs

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and eggs; mix until smooth.
  • Spread a layer of the cheese mixture in a greased baking dish.
  • Repeat layering with the remaining mixture, smoothing the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and set.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. For longer storage, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag. Thaw in the fridge before reheating. Enhance flavor with spices or fresh herbs. Customize by adding layers of ricotta cheese or spinach.
