  • 1 can 16 ounce can Old El Paso Refried Beans
  • 1 can 4.5 ounce can Old El Paso Green Chiles
  • 1 ounce Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Click for Homemade Recipe!

Toppings

  • 2 cups guacamole Click for recipe or use store bought.
  • 1.5 cups chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 0.25 cup cojita or feta cheese
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • to taste sour cream
  • to taste shredded pepper jack cheese
  • to taste black beans
  • to taste sliced jalapenos
  • to taste red onion
  • to taste black olives
  • as desired Or anything your heart desires!

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the beans, green chiles, and taco seasoning until fully combined and smooth.
  • Pour the beans into the bottom of a dish and use a spoon to spread it across the bottom fully.
  • Top with the guacamole and smooth it out as you did the beans.
  • Top with the tomatoes, onion, cheese, and cilantro, plus other toppings if you desire.
  • Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Notes

Layered Bean Dip is best served chilled or at room temperature. You can make the dip a day ahead and assemble it when you're ready to serve. Experiment with different toppings like corn or diced bell peppers for added flavor. To keep guacamole fresh, press plastic wrap directly on the surface.
