- 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves or 2 tablespoons dried
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger optional
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon raw honey optional
Bring 2 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
Add the fresh lemon balm leaves (or dried leaves) and grated ginger to the boiling water.
Remove from heat, cover, and let the mixture steep for 10 minutes.
Strain the infusion into a cup or pitcher to remove the leaves and ginger pieces.
Stir in the lemon juice and honey (if using) until well combined.
