Chicken Preparation

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 4 small chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Pasta Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation

  • Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

Cooking Chicken

  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add the chicken. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and add lemon juice and zest to the skillet.

Cooking Pasta and Sauce

  • Cook linguine according to package instructions.
  • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until creamy.

Combining and Serving

  • Toss linguine in the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken over the linguine, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it juicy. Adjust lemon juice to taste; more juice adds brightness. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a kick. Use fresh parsley for better flavor.
