Ingredients
  

For the Panna Cotta

  • 1 cup heavy cream Use full-fat for the best texture.
  • ½ cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Provides flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin Ensure it blooms properly.
  • ¼ cup water For blooming the gelatin.

For the Mango Puree

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced Ensure they are ripe for best flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a blender, puree the diced mangoes until smooth and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it bloom.
  • In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until just boiling.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until it is dissolved.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then stir in the mango puree.
  • Pour the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • To serve, spoon the panna cotta into bowls or cups, and garnish with fresh mango slices, mint leaves, or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store covered in the refrigerator for 2-3 days for the best taste and texture. You can also make adjustments to sweetness and consider adding coconut milk for a twist.
