  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ lb Italian sausage, crumbled
  • ½ cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the marinara or pizza sauce and Italian seasoning into the meat mixture.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat sauce, pepperoni, and bacon. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  • Top with cheese if desired.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings, and for extra flavor, sprinkle some extra cheese on top during the last few minutes of baking. You can also make it lighter by substituting with ground turkey or chicken.
