Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1 cup full-fat mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) Base for moisture
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan For depth of flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Essential for flavor
  • to taste salt and pepper Seasoning to taste

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Look for uniform thickness

Preparation

  • Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and cut each into 2-3 strips for even cooking.
  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to form the marinade.
  • Coat the chicken strips in the marinade and place in a sealed container in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and arrange the marinated chicken strips on it.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 400°F (204°C) and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables or creamy mashed potatoes. Leftovers can be used in salads, pasta, or sandwiches. The recipe can be adapted for gluten-free or dairy-free diets.
