Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¾ cup warm water (110°F)
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Toppings

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  • Add olive oil, flour, and salt into the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, then place it in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 30-60 minutes or until it doubles in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Roll out the dough and cut it into mini circles.

Baking

  • Place the circles on a baking sheet, spread a little pizza sauce on each, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and top with pepperoni slices.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden.

Notes

Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping. Great as finger food for parties or movie nights. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days, reheating before eating.
