Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, and herbs like rosemary or thyme.
  • Optionally, sear each steak in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side to lock in juices.

Cooking

  • Place the seared ribeye steaks at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle ranch and au jus seasoning over the steaks.
  • Add pepperoncini peppers and their juice around the steaks.
  • Top with pats of unsalted butter.
  • Set the slow cooker to low for 5-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables. Leftover steaks can be turned into sandwiches, salads, or stir-fries.
