  • 4 fillets fresh cod fillets High-quality and firm.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • If using frozen cod fillets, thaw them in the fridge and rinse with cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Cut the cod into 1-inch thick pieces to ensure they cook evenly.

Seasoning

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil and lemon juice, then brush this mixture on both sides of the cod fillets.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the fillets evenly.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the seasoned cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook the cod for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness, until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 300°F for 5-7 minutes.
