- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2 medium
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup Nutella for swirling or filling
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, mash bananas and mix with sugar, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full.
Drop 1 teaspoon of Nutella on top of each and swirl gently with a toothpick.
Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
