Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Nutella plus extra for topping or swirling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease lightly.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, oil, egg, and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed — do not overmix.
  • Fold in Nutella gently or drop a spoonful into each muffin cup and swirl.
  • Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
